SPEAKER's BUREAU

Councils often bring in speakers who are well known in national and statewide circles.  This Bureau is an attempt to highlight those speakers which other Councils can attest to in terms of speaking effectiveness and ability to motivate and empower both professional audiences and the general public.

Please feel free to e-mail your recommendations and they will be added to the list!

Suzanne Somers, a popular TV actress, fitness guru and cancer survivor, grew up as the child of an alcoholic. Her best-selling book, "Keeping Secrets," chronicles her family's victory over the pattern of abuse. She presently serves as chairperson of the Association of Children of Alcoholics and is founder of the Institute for the Study of Family Addictions.
Actress Suzanne Somers became famous for her eternally peppy character, Chrissie, on the television show, "Three's Company," but behind her sunshiny looks and disposition is an ambitious woman who had to overcome difficult life hurdles on the path to success.
